About Me

My name is Hunter Corwin. I was born at Hoag Hospital, and have lived in the same house on Balboa Island for the majority of my life, and for the entirety of my memories. I used to own a dog named junebug, and still have a cat that's older than I am. When it comes to family, I live with my brother and occasionally see my grandparents when they visit. I went to elementary school at Lincoln, middle and high school at CDM, and am finishing off my senior year at Back Bay High School.

As far as interests go, I have a few. I adore the beach and all it's many ways, both perfect and otherwise. I read as often as I can, which is to say, not as often as I might like to. I don't have any single kind of book that I prefer over the other, although I have been partial to nonfiction recently. When I was young, my favorite past time was sailing. Although I still do enjoy it, I have a hard time finding the time to. Additionally, cooking is one of my favorite activities. I particularly enjoy learning new recipes and cooking for others.

Despite the fact that my entire life consists 17 years, 17 is still considered young and small in comparison to those who have lived much longer. I do not know why having another year on me is such a huge difference, but I digress. As a young boy, I sailed every single summer for BIYC. The rest of the year, I played soccer and baseball. However, once I had begun to play waterpolo in 7th grade, I fell ill, spending the next year in and out of the hospital. After recovering, I had a hard time getting back into sports, so I focused my energy on schooling and education.
